ORLANDO, Fla. (Feb. 11, 2021) – Following a hiatus in 2020 due to coronavirus concerns, the Marine Industry Association of Central Florida (MIACF) announces the return of the Orlando Boat Show. Now in its 11th year, the highly anticipated show features 21 of Central Florida’s top boat dealers representing more than 70 manufacturers during the three-day event March 5-7, 2021 at the Orange County Convention Center.
According to the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), with heightened interest in outdoor recreation activities and ways to social distance, consumer demand for new boats surged across the country in 2020. U.S. boat sales reached a 13-year high in 2020 with the recreational boating boom expected to continue through 2021.
Boat enthusiasts will experience more than 80 exhibitors and nearly 500 boats at the Orlando Boat Show. The show features a wide variety of boats including bowriders, center consoles, deck boats, flats boats, fresh water fishing boats, jet boats, pontoon boats and surf boats to fit any lifestyle and occasion.
With the return of the show, attendees will also get a first look of many 2021 models yet to be seen due to postponed shows in 2020.
Additionally, extra incentives are available only during the show from dealers and manufacturers such as extended warranties, service packages, waived dockage, enhanced electronics and accessory packages.
“The Orlando Boat Show is designed for new and avid boating enthusiasts to explore the latest in boating trends, vessels, water activities and fishing,” said Joe Lewis of Mt. Dora Boating Center and the president of MIACF. “We are committed to raising the professionalism of the boating industry in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.”
