Seminole State College’s Board of Trustees has hired a search firm to help find the college’s third president as Ann McGee steps down.
The board has selected AGB Search to assist with the search for the president, it announced on Nov. 7.
The search committee is led by chair Rick Lee, who is president of Citizens Bank of Florida and a former trustee of Seminole State College. Also on the committee is the current chair of the board of trustees, Wendy Brandon, who is CEO of Central Florida Regional Hospital; plus representatives from administration, faculty, staff, students and the community.
The firm will work with the trustees, the search committee and other key stakeholders in preparing for and implementing the search, developing a search profile and advertisement for the position. AGB also will facilitate national advertising, coordinate interviews, vet candidates and help plan the transition once a new president is selected.
