Linked In Hack Alert

Aug 19, 2020 by Laura Category: News Releases 0 comments

My LinkedIn account was hacked and an unauthorized person is recruiting for a non-existent, remote data entry position using my personal name and the Richeson Communications brand.

Thankfully, five ‘candidates’ (so far) trusted their instincts and reached out directly to verify the opportunity as there were a number of red flags including the interview process via the Telegram messaging app, terrible grammar, a fictitious Gmail account, use of outdated branding and more.

Change your passwords, do your research and protect your digital footprint.
