Linked In Hack Alert

Aug 19, 2020 by Laura Category: News Releases 0 comments

My LinkedIn account was hacked and an unauthorized person is recruiting for a non-existent, remote data entry position using my personal name and the Richeson Communications brand.

Thankfully, five ā€˜candidatesā€™ (so far) trusted their instincts and reached out directly to verify the opportunity as there were a number of red flags including the interview process via the Telegram messaging app, terrible grammar, a fictitious Gmail account, use of outdated branding and more.

Change your passwords, do your research and protect your digital footprint.
